Gifts to the Waco Symphony Association for general operating expenses assist in keeping ticket prices affordable and also support our youth programs, including the Waco Symphony Youth Orchestra.
These gifts confirm the Waco Symphony Association’s partnership with the community beyond ticket purchases. Ticket income covers only a small percentage of concert expenses, so we must rely upon donations and sponsorships to make up the difference.
Your contributions are instrumental in the success and continued growth of the Waco Symphony.
Donations and sponsorships of $500 or more are acknowledged on the “Partners in Music” pages of our concert programs.
Endowment Fund
Gifts to help ensure artistic musical excellence and financial stability of the Waco Symphony. These include endowed chairs and special funds (such as the Guest Artist and Student Intern funds).
Legacy Giving / Planned Giving (Encore Society)

The Waco Symphony Foundation is available to assist you in meeting your charitable goals. However, we cannot provide you with tax, legal or financial advice. We encourage you to involve your personal advisers when considering charitable gifts.
Memorial & Honorary Gifts
Gifts in honor of or in memory of someone special. Memorial and honorarium gifts are thoughtful ways to express your feelings or commemorate a life event.
Honorariums celebrate important occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, graduations, or holidays. Acknowledgement cards are sent to the recipient, informing them of your gift.
Memorials celebrate the life of an individual. Acknowledgement cards are sent to the individual’s family, informing them of your gift.
All memorial and honorarium gifts are placed into our Endowment Fund, to help ensure the future of the Waco Symphony.
