Feel the Magic of Live Classical Music

March 10, 2025

There is something truly magical about experiencing classical music live. The moment the conductor raises the baton, the air changes. The first note resonates through the concert hall, filling the space with energy, emotion, and artistry that recordings can’t capture.

At Waco Symphony, we invite you to feel the power of a full orchestra performing in perfect harmony. Be swept away by the drama, the passion, and the beauty of music that has moved audiences for centuries.

Join us at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 3 for an unforgettable evening as we close out our season with a program that will take you on an emotional and musical journey. The Waco Symphony will perform a stunning array of pieces, beginning with Samuel Barber’s School for Scandal Overture. Then, the orchestra will feature Principal Clarinet of the New York Philharmonic, Anthony McGill, in Richard Danielpour’s Clarinet Concerto “From the Mountaintop,” a piece inspired by the enduring legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.

The night continues with Brian Tyler’s Yellowstone Main Theme, evoking the pioneering spirit of the popular TV series. Finally, experience the grand power of Saint-SaĆ«ns’ Symphony No. 3 “Organ,” with Bradley Hunter Welch, the Dallas Symphony’s Resident Organist and Baylor graduate, at the organ.

Don’t miss this chance to experience live music that will leave you breathless. Purchase your tickets and immerse yourself in a night of unforgettable artistry and emotion.
